Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage an effective warranty system for flydubai fleet & achieve full recovery of payments due to the company under terms of warranty claims.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews and investigates the aircraft technical defects for qualification under warranty programs and initiates claims as necessary.
• Decides on contractual obligations from the suppliers and launches on time claims.
• Monitors & controls all due warranties on all aircraft components, systems and equipment.
• Manages communication with aircraft & engines OEM’s, component vendors, component support providers in order to claim due warranties.
• Liaises with all concerned departments in order to achieve effective collection of credits resulting from warranty claims.
• Decides on and takes appropriate follow-up actions on rejected claims.
• Advises on warranty terms and their application according to the product support contracts entered by flydubai and its suppliers.
• Manages negotiations with vendors/customers where warranty aspects are concerned.
• Assesses and processes warranty claims made against the company by purchasers of the Company’s engineering services and products.
• Generates and analyses comprehensive reports of all warranty claims, presents amount of credits obtained for management review.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (or Equivalent)

Education / Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 3
• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree)- 5

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
