Job Description

To assist Material Planning Officers and Material Supervisors in the day to day material planning functions and operational control of EMPACS data. To investigate stock discrepancies, and to assist in the control of inventory for all aircraft tooling and spares at main base, line and outstations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Materials & Stores : 1+ Year
• 10 Years schooling or equivalent :
• Experience in an airline industry or third party maintenance environment, (less may be considered if academic qualifications are greater). Industry experience in varies supply chain management is preferable ( Warehouse and Logistics, Repairs Management, Material Planning/Support & Inventory Control), Technical Purchasing preference will be given to personal with airline experience however consideration will also be given to candidates with good educational background with experience in above functions from other fields involving high value, technically complex products. -Should have good understanding of both mainframe and P.C. related systems within Inventory and Word Processing environments. -Good command of written and spoken English. -Knowledge of aircraft components and associated systems is desirable. An acceptable working experience of EMPACS Inventory Management System. Expertise in MS-Excel and MS-Access.
