Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Staff Representative – Instructional Design is responsible for designing and implementing organization development programs as well as conducting advanced classes, seminars and workshops for assigned client base using a variety of and technical approaches. The representative will coordinate and design major system wide multi-media curriculum for populations with different cultural backgrounds with English language proficiency.

  • Designs, develops, creates and delivers custom learning programs, activities and assessments utilizing blended learning approaches, including highly interactive eLearning, micro and adaptive learning as well as instructor led training for a diverse footprint of employees in NOC and other departments within the organization
  • Responsible for ensuring training design fulfils the learning needs that meet specific business objectives
  • Remains current with advances in the industry and incorporates into training as appropriate
  • Conducts train the trainers with facilitators and training specialists to ensure learning initiatives adhere to training quality standards
  • Provides consulting services in instructional design and teaching/facilitating techniques to other training organizations and conducts in-service workshops for these organizations
  • Designs curriculum-based tests and course validation, participant feedback, on-the-job and operational results evaluation methods and instruments
  • Analyzes and incorporate feedback on training programs and courses for purposes of improving learning outcomes
  • Monitors and evaluates trainee progress and recommends specialized training to ensure acceptable performance
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to design curriculums, exercises, instructional activities, and training assessments that support learning initiatives
  • Ensures training materials are consistently updated with current policies, procedures, and standards
  • Communicates frequently and effectively with project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other team members throughout the lifecycle of a project

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with instructional design, educational technology or related field
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology with adult learning
  • Experience with the full range of web-based application testing, including: regression testing, and functional testing
  • Web Development experience specifically for eLearning delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills, which include the ability to research issues to make an informed decisions
  • Excellent time management, decision-making and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal are required
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in testing web based applications using various platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux and browsers including IE, Firefox and Mozilla
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the learning design cycle (ADDIE or SAM)
  • Strong working knowledge and of WebEx and other virtual software
  • Possess Instructional System Design experience and design and apprpriate ISD model for Network Operations
  • Strong working knowledge of eLearning development tools preferred(i.e. Articulate Storyline II, Camtasia, Audacity, and ProTools etc.) and at least one Learning Management System
  • Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated skill in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and training program evaluation and administration
  • Leadership Development curriculum design and development
  • Knowledge of Best Practices in leadership learning and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Point
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • 3+ years’ experience designing and developing engaging and effective adult learning programs preferred
  • Public Sector and Independent Consulting experience, a plus
