CAE are currently recruiting for an experienced S enior Technical Support Engineering.

For our India office, We are looking for a S enior Technical Support Engineering who has been involved in a lot of amazing projects and knows how to help a client achieve their goals.

The Senior Technical Support Specialist supports servers, networked and standalone workstations, and common office productivity and instructional software, relational databases , and will specialize in an area such as a network environment, decision support, or assistive technology.

You Should Have

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Certifications or equivalent experience in two or more of the following: MCSE, CNE, MCNE, CCIE (Cisco Certified internetworking Engineer) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Certified Information System Security Professional
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing and Switching
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
  • Certified Information Security Manager

Roles & Responsibilites

  • The Senior Technical Support will be responsible for providing specialized technical/product support to field engineers/technicians who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems and/or complex software.
  • Provides phone support utilizing monitoring tools and diagnostic methods. Responsible for third level technical support for desktop/devise hardware and software network problems. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
  • May be involved in customer installation and training.
  • Installation & configuration of a company’s computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of computer networks and systems.
  • Logging the queries of customers and employees.
  • Analysis of call logs in order to discover any underlying issues or trends.
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Performing electrical safety checks on the company’s computer equipment.
  • Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion.
  • Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, in order to set up a system or fix a fault.

Technical Support Requirements

  • P roficiency in Mac/Linux/Windows OS
  • Experience in help desk software
  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Previous experience in tech support or a similar job
