Responsibilities:

• Study project requirements and work alongside our Sales team to align on deliverables 
• Evaluate the design for manufacturing & assembly for all Machining projects
• Develop a Sourcing strategy for the assigned projects & services to achieve cost productivity & cash flows.
• Selection of suppliers for the projects, develop relationships with current suppliers and onboard new manufacturing partners as per the business requirements.
• Optimize the overall BOM cost, interact with manufacturing partners to optimize the design, perform a should-cost analysis, cost benchmarking, and suggest alternatives that meet key requirements of the client.
• Supplier development, process improvements, compliance & risk management (Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements).
• Data management (MIS, SOPs, Contracts), knowledge management, reporting & analysis. 
• Participate in all project reviews and meetings related to sourcing, pricing, and Manufacturing Partner management issues.
• Conduct vendor audits, release vendor ratings and do timely visits (approx. 25 - 40 % travel per month) to the facilities of manufacturing partners across India.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience in CNC Machining, in an estimation, costing, proposals or production supervisor role. Candidates having deep knowledge in CNC components purchase are given preference.
• Specialist Knowledge: CNC Turning, VMC, Lathe, Wire Cutting, Spark EDM, Tool Manufacturing and Machining, Gear Hobbing and spline cutting, Micro machining, jigs and Fixtures, Post processing (Powder coating, Anodising, Hardening, Media blasting, etc)
• Technical knowledge of engineering design, experience with CAD software (AutoCAD and Solidworks).
• Knowledge in other fields such as Iron casting, Forging, Sheet metal Stamping and welding etc. are considered as a merit.
• Experience in managing projects, working with multiple suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Knowledge of Problem-solving framework/Lean methodologies.
• Expertise in price and terms negotiations with all the vendors.
• Location: Mumbai (Ready to relocate as per the business requirement)
• Immediate joining preferable
