Job Description

Scoot is looking for an energetic, positive and dynamic individual to join the training team to develop and conduct training programs to enable cabin crew to deliver excellent service. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, detail orientation and passion to mentor and nurture trainees are required for the role. The candidate is required to coach and influence trainees to achieve performance proficiencies and also drive positive behaviour changes where necessary to ensure trainees excel in the job.

We are searching for a/an energetic, positive and dynamic individual for Specialist, Training in Cabin Services Department. You will be part of the Cabin Services Training team and will be the mentor developing and conducting training programs for Cabin Crew to enable them to achieve proficiencies and deliver excellent inflight service to our passengers . You will work closely with cabin crew and cross functional internal stakeholders within Scoot as well as external training providers to deliver competent cabin crew to line.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Ensure adequate number of crew are trained to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure that curriculum and programme complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain training programs and training materials.Mentor and nurture trainees to help them achieve success. including implementing Training Discipline for trainees.
  • Identify performance gaps for cabin crew based on crew performance and through consultation with relevant stakeholders and implements appropriate Instructional design to bridge performance gaps.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis and recommend appropriate revisions to existing training program and/or introduce      new training program to bridge performance gaps and meet changing customer expectations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and mitigation measures for improvement.  
  • Upkeep high standards and quality of training and guide rank trainers where neeeded. 
  • Record keeping for cabin crew training attendance and issuance of training materials including CCM, etc.
  • Support comms function, e.g. organise & update Station Information to facilitate cabin crew operations 
  • Assist in managing training budget and related training costs.  

Job Requirements:

  • University degree holder with at least 5 years of work experience or diploma holder with at least 8 years of work experience 
  • Cabin crew experience of at least 2 years would be advanteagous 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office appplications including word, exel and powerpoint
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Self-driven and results oriented individual with strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Highly self-organised, systematic and meticulous
  • Resilient and calm under pressure when working with constant and last minute changes and tight timelines
  • Patient and nurturing with passion to mentor and coach trainees to acheive success
