Job Description

  • Managing the individual and team performance of operating cabin crew so as to motivate them to achieve the operational, safety and service excellence standards that define the Vistara experience on flights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor cabin crew performance via inflight audits, performance appraisals and passenger feedback
  • Confirmation of crew on probation
  • Review and extension of cabin crew contract basis performance
  • Review and enhance cabin crew performance in terms of service and safety standards, as well as operational discipline e.g., compliments/complaints, on-time reporting, medical leave
  • Work closely with HR to resolve disciplinary matters in a timely fashion
  • Accountable for maintenance of up-to-date records for all cabin crew on performance matter
  • Support development of crew management systems (e.g., performance management system) by providing requirements/ideas for improvements, carry out user testing and driving change management activities
  • Coach and counsel crew periodically towards better performance
  • Make recommendations to Senior Management for improving overall crew performance
  • Develop innovative ways to evaluate performance
  • Carry out cabin crew recruitment activities

  • Attentive to details and enterprising.
  • Has demonstrated in current role a good track record and strong understanding of policies / procedures Experience in planning / conducting training.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience (at least 1 year as a senior cabin crew in a domestic airline or 5 years in any international airline).

Qualification

  • 10+ 2 from a recognized Education Board

Eligibility

  • Must be at a level of Sr. Executive (1B) or one level lower than the position
  • Minimum tenure in the current role and level – 18 months as date of release of IJP and must have attained minimum performance rating of GP3 in the last appraisal
  • Must be “confirmed’’ in service

Location

  • Bangalore

Note

  • You are required to inform your reporting manager prior to your application (Not required for Cabin Crew)
  • The promotion cases will be as per existing policy/ guideline
  • Employees under bond are required to serve the entire bond period before applying for the IJP (Not applicable for Crew under Foreign language training bond)
