Job Description

This role should review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment along with performing Accounts payable related financial closing activities with necessary reports. This role also include task related to preparing Vendor reconciliation and reverting the departmental/bank queries.           

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating with Engineering vendors and Engineering purchases for Invoices, processing Invoices in coordination with Engineering purchases and Finance for remittance to vendors within the strict timelines
• Timely reconciliation of Engineering payables with Vendor SOA, providing MIS and providing critical payment concerns to Sr Management
• Approval and monitoring of Custom clearance and documentation
• Maintaining physical & financial verification reports of engineering inventory in coordination with stores team
• Collecting data for monthly closure of inventory from stores
• Monitoring the Financial activities in inventory ERP (AMOS)
• Co-ordination within department to get the CAPEX Forms submitted and maintaining tracker for CAPEX forms
• To provide assistance in below activities
• Monitor the new vendor registration
• Reconciliation of Purchase Orders sheet with Goods Receipt Notes to determine status of Open/ Closed PO
• Assigning GL Codes on PRFs and checking of Cost Centers based on nature of expense
• Data analysis related to Engineering expenses and provide recommendations thereof for effective cost reduction and control
• Ensure compliance to various financial guidelines and working as per company’s SOP
• Coordinate with auditors for conducting effective and smooth audits
• Tasks as assigned by reporting Manager

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 Years of work experience in Finance & accounts with relevant accounts payable experience
• Preferred 1 year of relevant aviation experience

Qualification

Commerce Graduate from a recognized university.
