The Sr. Flight Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining Operational Control and Flight Watch on all company flights.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate weather information to determine and select the most economical route of flight between a city pair
Prepare an Optimized Operational flight plan, factoring the Notams, TAFS and METARS, compute the RTOW and ensure maximum payload, for all flights within the schedule
Selection of destination alternate, subject to Dispatch Planning Minima, and compute the amount of fuel required judiciously, using company and DGCA established guidelines
Supports, briefs and/or assists the PIC regarding risk tolerability with respect to the safe conduct of each flight
Furnishing the PIC, while in flight, with appropriate information necessary for the safe conduct of the flight and in any emergency by providing any assistance necessary to ensure safe completion of the flight
Notifying the appropriate ATS unit when the position of the aircraft cannot be determined by an aircraft tracking capability and attempts to establish communication are unsuccessful
Convey, by any available means, safety-related information to the PIC that may be necessary for the safe conduct of the flight, including information related to any necessary amendments to the flight plan
Will monitor the Osprey Portal along with MOC for any alerts, that cover the flight route flown from Departure to Destination and highlight any potential level of risk for the routes flown
Will be the Shift-in Charge for a given shift duty
Will depute on behalf of Manager Flight Dispatch in his absence
Any other responsibility as assigned by the Manager

Work Experience
6 to 10 years with Dispatcher Approval with thorough knowledge of Area of International Experience (Asia, Middle East, Far East and Europe)
10 years and above with Dispatcher Approval with though knowledge of Area of International Experience (Asia, Middle East, Far East, Europe and North America)
Qualification
Current DGCA approved Flight Dispatcher (rated on A320 or B737 or B787 will be preferred)
