Job Description

The candidate is expected to lead network planning activities at Vistara which involves various strategic activities such as market research, fleet deployment plan, competition analysis and economic feasibility analyses which will enable the airline to enhance its network to achieve its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of Network and route plan with robust analysis and planning
• Short and long-term planning and development of aircraft fleet/deployment and operating plans
• Active participation in preparation and finalization of annual/long term budget
• Compiling and timely presentation of competition data, industry information to management
• Liaison with airports, regulators, and other internal/external stakeholders for timely implementation of approved route network
• Monitor route performance in terms of Revenue, schedule integrity and financial viability versus budget
• Generate additional revenue stream under passenger and cargo charter business
• Design, generate and circulate Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports related to Network planning activities
• Participate and lead ad-hoc strategic projects as and when required by the management

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in advanced excel, MS word, MS ppt, and other MS office skills

• Must be a strategic and analytical thinker

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with 3-4 years of experience in managing large diverse teams in an airline would be an added advantage
• Experience in ARMS is preferred

Qualification

• Graduate/ Postgraduate from a recognized university
