Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to support mechanical design of wide range of mechanical structures, systems and other Aircraft /Aerospace components
  • Executing projects independently without supervision
  • Interaction between design, stress and manufacturing team for design data transfer
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring team during project execution
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively think out of the box

Desired Skills:

  • Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering Degree or Equivalent with 2 to 6 years of experience
  • Must understand the complete product development lifecycle, capture requirements and provide technical guidance and decisions
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Fuselage Primary & Secondary Structures, ESI and MSI
  • Good knowledge in fuselage structure and load paths
  • Very good knowledge in Strength of Material applications, A/C Materials and Stress justification with hand calculations (classical methods)
  • Well experienced in Aero structure stress analysis (static and F&DT) concepts
  • Experience in Airbus Processes, tools and methods will be an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge in SRM chapters, A/ C materials, fastener types
  • Well experienced in the preparation of stress justification report
  • Expertise in MS Word, Presentation and Excel (+Macros)
  • Having worked on AIRBUS Design projects will be added advantage.
