Job Description

Assist the Workshops Management to accomplish aviation unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft components.

Will also be responsible for:

• Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance on aircraft armament equipment.
• Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
• Ensures subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 and related publications.
• Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles to aircraft armament maintenance and shop operations.
• Instructs personnel and conducts technical training on aircraft armament maintenance, supply and safety techniques.
• Evaluates the technical training program on host nation personnel.
• Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.
• Maintains accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
• Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
• Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Armament Workshop.
• Responsible for oversight, guidance and counseling of all personnel assigned to them.
• Responsible for enhancement Shop's capabilities

QUALIFICATION

• High School Completion of a formal armament training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 Years Experience working with aircraft armament systems.
• Minimum of 1 Years Supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, hardware and equipment used in the maintenance of aircraft armament systems. Must have a minimum of five years working with aircraft armament weapon systems.
