Job Description

Reports directly to the Production Planning & Control Manager on all related maintenance operations affecting production. Carries out directives from the Project Manager and Operation Manager. Supervises Production Control activities for all levels of maintenance within the organization. Responsible for the overall day-to-day functioning of the Production Planning & Control department and supervision of personnel assigned.

Will also be responsible for:

• Coordinate maintenance efforts with both the AVUM and AVIM key personnel.
• Support the maintenance mission as an Advisor to the AVIM Manager and Customer.
• Coordinate Workshops and Logistics into the daily maintenance workflow.
• Will be the primary Facilitator of the daily PC meeting.
• Track aircraft Operational Readiness Rate for all fleet aircraft and prepare monthly reports with the Production control planners.
• Responsible for the internal management and administration of the PC section.
• Establish and Maintain Controlled Exchange Procedures for the AVIM and support the AVUM in their program.
• Coordinate External Maintenance and Logistic Support.
• Responsible for the PCP’s daily duties are completed and supported.
• Will work with the SOC POC for BDAR / DART Procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling of the Aircraft Phase Maintenance Program.
• Will validate the PCP end of month close out reports and customer notes.

QUALIFICATION

•  - Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (A&P License Preferred )Military aviation maintenance training school graduate preferred
• BA or BS in any aviation discipline preferred.
• FAA A&P certificate and FCC license or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE

•  - Minimum of 12 Years Experience in Aviation Maintenance repair activities at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line levels.
• Must have worked in; Unit AVUM/AVIM level at the production control/quality control section at the supervisory level.
• Full working knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and reporting system.

Skills Required
