Job Description
The Maintenance Team at Airbus India utilizes primarily System Engineering and Health engineering competencies.
This team is responsible for defining the maintenance systems of tomorrow for the aircraft, designing the BITE
specifications for the systems, providing the customization mods needed for the aircrafts, and developing
diagnostic and prognostic solutions to improve the maturity of systems by applying machine learning algorithms,
reliability concepts, an adept understanding of aircraft systems and modelling and simulation capabilities. Team
works with both commercial and defense & space ecosystems and is also engaged on Airbus Skywise (the singular
access point to data analytics) utilizing Big Data, Java & Python skills to create data driven models. We are a team
strongly invested on R&T initiatives that is dedicated to supporting future aircraft health needs. This team is part of
Simulation & Physical Systems, a department that works on providing simulations means for most aircraft systems
and industrial needs through the application of systems engineering, MBSE, certification abilities etc

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and driven to work in an R&T environment being responsible
for:

• Understanding the technological needs of Maintenance of Tomorrow team and its extended ecosystem (customers, suppliers, strategic partners etc.).-
• Quickly learning and creating prototypes/concrete solutions that solve the needs and problems identified.-
• Working with a transnational team in agile process and striving to understand other aircraft systems and learn its impact studies-
• Being flexible to be challenged on one’s ideas and to still drive innovative solutions-
• Networking with other system designers/experts to understand and improve the solution at hand.-
• Validating, Testing and Deploying the innovative solutions developed and documenting the learning in the process-
• Providing project updates on a consistent basis to the various stakeholders involved in the R-&T plateau

Required experience & Skills

• -E/B.tech/M.tech/M.E in Aerospace/Electrical or Electronics or related engineering
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Aerospace or related industry-
• Good understanding in any aircraft systems preferably- Central Maintenance Systems or Flight Warning Systems etc-
• Good understanding of communication protocols and data exchange between systems-
• Good Awareness of system engineering concepts-
• Experienced with working in AGILE SAFe methodology/SCRUM-
• Experienced with at least one of the simulation modelling- & related tools (Matlab, Simulink, AMESI,Dymola etc.) and/or atleast one of the scripting languages (Python, Java, Javascript, GoJS etc)
• Business Proficiency in English-

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in quickly grasping the technical details of different aircraft systems and associating the-
• technology to solve relevant problem statements.
• Entrepreneurial mindset as the candidate is expected to work on innovative topics in R-&T environment.
• Interest in programming so as to develop the demonstrator for the solution developed.-
• Good communicator as the candidate will be the point of contact for the project for Airbus India-
• Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively-
• Interest in Data Science so as to be an effective team player-
• Additional languages (French, German, Regional) could be an added advantage-
