Job Description

The candidate is expected to provide technical knowledge and information regarding the project. The candidate must be able to concentrate, centralize, present and store available information in a way that at any time the technical team-members as well as the management level can access that information on request with zero delay.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the TCT team and manage their duties and responsibilities.

Make sure 3rd level support is provided on time.

Provide 3rd and 4th level support to the project.

This means being able to:

• Interfaced to the Change Management process and to provide support and do proper coordination when implementing the change requests.
• To travel on site (border area of Saudi Arabia) or to Riyadh warehouse when requested.
• To escalate and to work on 3rd level support requests as well as to contribute to major incident solutions.
• To analyze and correct sensor, C2ISR-issues as well as infrastructural issues as e.g. DNS, DHCP, DFS, AD.
• To liaise with fourth level support in Germany to resolve issues (provision of log-files etc.) in a timely manner and to provide assistance in bug fixing.
• To create and amend processes to reduce the time and effort in managing the system.
• To create scripts to reduce the time and effort in administration of the system.
• To upkeep technical documentation.
• To upkeep the Network Monitoring System when needed.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of administrative experience in C4ISR-environment, Windows environment (Active Directory, System Center, Hyper-V), blade-server environment, and enterprise sized storage area networks (SAN).
• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in sensor technology and Linux OS.
• Knowledge and Skills:
• Linux Operating System (install, configure and edit config-files, create backups, restore application installations, maintain users and groups, extracting log-files).
• Windows Operating System (work with Hyper-V-clusters and MS infrastructure services (DFS, DNS, DHCP)).
• Windows Active Directory (work with CONOPS, LDAP, replication-topology, RADIUS).
• Windows System Center (work with SCSM, SCVMM, SCCM, SCOM, ORCH).
• Microsoft Office (work with Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Handling of C4ISR-software and -sensors (work with FLIR-camera, TERMA-radar, Styris, RDF, AIS).
