Job Description

Educational Qualifications         

  • Fresh diploma, Professional / Technical Qualification – Technical Certificate in Mechanical & Electrical or Electronics Engineering in similar capacity. (Either in an Airline Catering Unit/5-star hotel/large sea liner).
  • Secondary School certificate with minimum 6 years’ relevant experience.

Skills/Knowledge           

  • English language essential.
    • Arabic advantage
    • Computer is must

Job Description               

  • Perform the preventive and corrective maintenance for all catering and laundry equipment.
  • Ensure all corrective maintenance are completed in the timely and safely manner.
  • Ensure all preventive maintenance are completed as planned and according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure the safety of the subordinates working at the catering building.
  • Ensure all maintenance critical spare parts are available in stock for emergency repairs and create orders for the new spare parts.
  • Control and record the documents related to the maintenance section.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management system as per the quality control standards of Catering Business Unit and sections manuals.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Senior Officer/Officer/Supervisor-Maintenance
