Job Description

• 
  The Production Control Planner will coordinate all maintenance actions for the fleet of assignment. Will coordinate and establish priorities of work with the Operations MGR’s, to include the following: quality control, the aviation repair shops, the armament section, technical supply, and flight squadrons. The PC Planner will provide support to mission and will act as an advisor in their capacity. Will be responsible for planning and controlling the maintenance at the 1st and 2nd line and oversee the daily activities of production. Will coordinate shop activities and advise key personnel in all maintenance efforts. The PC Planner will manage maintenance and logistics planning and forecasting of the assigned aircraft so that the highest operational readiness rates are achieved.
  
  Planners will keep an up-to-date records of flying hours, serviceability and availability rates. Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
  
  Will also be responsible to:
  
  PPC is responsible for tracking maintenance and logistics statuses directly affecting assigned aircraft.
  
  2. Assist in coordinating maintenance efforts at both the 1st and 2nd maintenance lines.
  
  3. Will coordinate all daily and upcoming maintenance actions during the schedule daily PC meeting.
  
  4. Coordinate and prioritize work to meet customer requirements for both maintenance and operations demands.
  
  5. Will maintain a monthly maintenance scheduled and provide a copy to the Operations Manager and customer.
  
  6. Will monitor the Operational Readiness Rate for Fleet and provide monthly reports.
  
  7. Establish an efficient system for monitoring the status of all aircraft maintenance work orders and the corresponding maintenance.
  
  8. Ensure Controlled Exchange Procedures are followed and that Customer and Operations manager are aware of all Controlled Exchanges.
  
  9. Will ensure that all logistic is monitored to complete all assigned maintenance.
  
  10. Assist in coordinating scheduling of the Aircraft Phase Maintenance Program.
  
  11. Analysis of all work-in-process and make judgments regarding work force adjustments, utilizations and follow-up action.

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (A&P License )
  - High School Diploma.
  - Must have FAA A&P certificate or equivalent with no prior FAR violations.
  - Effective written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to review and interpret concepts and to communicate necessary actions and requests clearly and concisely.
  - A graduate of Military Aviation Maintenance School is desirable.
  - Must have an above average working knowledge of all computer office applications, Excel and Word required.

EXPERIENCE

•   - Minimum of 12 years Aviation Maintenance experience.
  - Minimum of 5 years Production Control experience.
