Job Description

OVERVIEW
Advises and develops UAE Joint Aviation Command (JAC) aviation maintenance technician training strategies and enlisted career pathways. Evaluates JAC technician and enlisted training needs against the latest military, industry, and academic trends to provide technician training that meet JAC requirements. Assists the Technician Training Wing Commander and JAI Program Manager in developing recommended requests for proposals, statements of work, and assists in monitoring JAI Technician related contracts’ schedule and performance.

Will also be responsible to:

• To provide Advice to the JAI and Technician Training Wing Commanders on training development, curriculum standardization and career pathways for JAC aviation technicians and enlisted personnel.
• Researches and analyses academic and industry resources for improvements to technician training.
• Provides subject matter expertise in the development of technician course training plans IAW the Ministry Of Defense Systems Approach to both Technical and Administration model.
• Conducts periodic review of contracts supporting technician training to ensure schedule and performance objectives are met.
• Verifies the technical accuracy of material developed for maintenance training and career development as necessary.
• Performs site visits, training establishment evaluations and attends trade shows, industry conferences and customers/partners meetings.

QUALIFICATION
 
EXPERIENCE
  Minimum of 10 years’ related maintenance experience on JAC-related aircraft.

  Experience in ab initio, Part 147 and military technician maintenance operations and/or training.

  Experience in military enlisted career development.

Language and Communications Skills Requirements:

  Very good command of verbal and written English.

  Ability to communicate and work efficiently as a team player in department and industry.

  Strong PC application knowledge.

  Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
