Job Description


Training & Flight Operations Business Development Analyst mission in TFOS Business Development team (STX) is to support Airbus Training & Flight Operations business lines by:

  • Expanding TFOS revenue and profit streams for its products and services through providing global business critical insights using "on the field" analytics and local/global trends to help drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward globally.
  • Leveraging worldwide market awareness to support TFOS in order to: (a) adequately position its relevant TFOS services & product value chain, (b) identify, assess and recommend where relevant, suitable partnerships, acquisitions, new affiliates creations, other types of investments, new innovations, products and services, (c) develop and recommend tailored business models/ business case to support TFOS including relating to innovations.
  • Maximise business synergies in TFOS scope through close coordination with other Airbus divisions.

This is a local for global role supporting TFOS business lines worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide global and regional critical business insights including innovations to support ST strategies.
  • Lead, structure, conduct and provide deep analysis of specific “on the field” topics (market dynamics) in coordination with all relevant Airbus customer facing stakeholders (e.g Flight Operations Support Directors, Global Account Managers, etc.) in order to support STX and business lines in making appropriate recommendations to TFOS leadership.
  • Actively monitor, assess and recommend suitable strategic business initiatives, partnership opportunities and tailored business model/business case under the guidance of TFOS business development directors to the TFOS leadership in line with global strategy.
  • Support with relevant data points required for management presentations such as business case, strategic white paper, M&A Gate 1, etc, in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide timely business trends and intelligence to relevant stakeholders based on customer and business network
  • This role will involve some travels to connect with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in related fields or an MBA.
  • Relevant experience of 3-5 years in airlines training and flight ops or business analysis preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Good relationship skills & teamwork mind-set
  • Strong sense of rigor
  • Excellent written and spoken English level
  • Ability to convince and to take initiatives
  • Ability to simplify complex information and build a sound narration
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Adaptability to different cultural environments, proven diplomacy skills
