AIRPORT OPERATIONS CONTROL CENTER

Vice President - Airport Operations Control Center

The team works in real time to make sure the right people are in the right place – airside and landside – to meet demand. As our airports are the world’s busiest, it’s fast-paced and a real challenge. They see that the operational plan is followed, and issues are dealt with across terminals, regular operations, incidents and crisis handling. The operation has to be industry-leading, and it always is.

What you’ll deliver

• The AOCC is the central communication and information Centre for the airport and you're responsible for leading and driving the performance of the teams that are based within the center.
• You’ll be directing the operations, development, and strategic planning of the center in line with Dubai Airports strategic objectives
• You’ll be responsible for directing operational reviews and recommendation activities to determine future capacity requirements, enabling the successful delivery of the aviation sector growth within the UAE
• You will work with key airport community stakeholders to create a transparent, open environment of clear and consistent communication and collaboration
• In summary, you will be accountable for the overall reputation of the AOCC, through strategic leadership, stakeholder collaboration and innovative thinking, delivering an agile and resilient overall airport operation

What you bring

• You’ll be educated to Degree level in a discipline related to aviation.
• You should have at least 10 years’ experience in a senior operational Aviation management role.
• You’ll have a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of aviation regulations and compliance
• A customer-service centric mind-set
• Experience of total airport management or A-CDM
