Job Description

To carry out NDT Inspection/Testing on relevant scheduled and un-scheduled Components within flydubai Workshops.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Activities

1. To ensure that all relevant NDT work instructions are carried out and followed.
2. To ensure that all components undergo the relevant process, documentation and equipment standardisation in accordance with the approved work instructions.
3. To ensure that all components are prepared pre and post inspections in accordance with the approved Work Instructions.
4. To ensure that all system performance checks are conducted in accordance with the applicable Process standard.
5. When approved by the Nominated NDT Level 3, may carry out interpretations and evaluations of specific product(s) or product form(s) for acceptance or rejection in accordance with approved work instructions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

• NDT Level 1 PT & ET [EN4179/NAS 410 or PCN Independent Central Certification Scheme (PCN) accredited and managed by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing - B Inst NDT)
• Diploma or Equivalent (Preferably in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics) 

Experience

• Demonstrated 3+ Years’ experience relevant to NDT Level I/II PT & ET.
• On job training in Aviation maintenance field.

Knowledge / Skills

• General knowledge and experience/familiarisation of Aircraft & Aircraft Components.
• Basic computer skills which at the minimum includes Microsoft office.

Certificate / License required

• NDT Level 1 Certificates

Additional Requirements

• Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
