As the Aircraft Component NDT Inspector – Level 2/3 you will perform the following duties:
Set up equipment and perform all phases of ECI, USI and FPI inspection of aircraft components in accordance with CMM requirements and customer specifications.
Perform assigned maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing as well as sheet metal and/or composite work on aircraft components.
Assure product quality and manufacturing accuracy by properly interpreting inspection results.
Update procedures, tests and specifications in accordance with CMM and customer requirements.
Prepare rejection tags noting deviations from specifications on dimensions, finishes, materials, processes of quality when required.
Maintain compliance through testing for Level 1, 2, 3 certification as applicable.
Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
Requirements
The ideal Aircraft Component NDT Inspector – Level 2/3 must fulfill the following requirements:
Ability to prepare aircraft components to ensure NDT process meets customer specifications called for OEM specifications and requirements.
Ability to handle both large and small parts with tooling and other devices.
Ability to read, write and speak in English.
Adaptability to changing priorities, work environments, management styles and business trends.
PC skills.
Must be able to work shifts.
Experience and qualifications as a NDT Inspector Level 2/3 in accordance with NAS 410 standard for the following procedures:
