Job Description

To independently perform moderately complex aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with applicable technical orders, standards, and regulations.

Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable.

Will also be responsible for:

• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Maintain and service moderately complex electrical aircraft systems, parts, and related aerospace equipment.
• Install improvements and upgrades to electrical aircraft systems, parts, and related aerospace equipment.
• Operate all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as required to service aircraft while on ground.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify moderately complex aircraft systems, parts, and related equipment including electrical generators / battery, generator controls, power switching and control equipment, internal/ external lighting, crew station console, and electrical harnesses.
• Conduct functional tests of repaired components and systems to ensure they are working properly.
• Independently prepare statements and reports (e.g., deficiency reports, maintenance analysis documents, technical data changes, and equipment records) timely and accurately to meet GAL and departmental requirements, policies and standards.
• Record maintenance and repair information on data collection forms and automated system to ensure all needed data is captured and recorded.
• May provide on-the-job training and coaching to junior technicians to support their overall development.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

QUALIFICATION

• Technical diploma or skill level 7 or 9 certified in respective trade, QC or Train the Trainer.
• Military aircraft experience letter or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience within maintenance operations area at an Airbase.
• Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes
• Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures
• Understanding of aircraft structure, components, trublleshooting, wiring system and functions..etc.
