Role Summary

CHC Helicopter is a leading global provider of helicopter services delivering offshore oil and gas transport on five continents and operating one of the most extensive search and rescue (SAR) networks in the world. CHC Helikopter Services are now recruiting for multiple roles as AMEs and technicians at our bases located on Sola, Kristiansund and Tromsø with a reporting line to the base supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
  • Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision
  • Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
  • Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
  • Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
  • Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area’s under their control
  • Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
  • May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility

Essential

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Skilled worker certificate avionics
  • EASA Licensed B1 and / or B2 Engineer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language)
  • Good computer skills
  • Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements
  • Excellent cooperation skills in a team-environment
  • Highly adaptable to change, and thrives in a hectic and dynamic work-environment
  • Work accurate, efficiently and with great work-ethics
  • Excellent problem-solving and service-quality skills
  • Alignment with CHC Values – Simplicity, Agility, Collaboration, Innovation, and Ownership.

Desirable

      • Applicants with type ratings for Sikorsky S92 or Super Puma AS332 will be preferred
      • Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage

Employees are required to obtain an airport security pass and necessary approvals for the accomplishment of the role.
