  • At least 2 years system application administration experience in aviation and/or warehousing systems.
  • At least 5 years Systems Analysis (with seniority/team lead roles is an advantage).
  • Proficient in System Application Administration on security, process and usability.
  • 5 years experience in training & education

Job Requirements

  • Required Qualifications
    Graduate of 4-years IT-related college degree (Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering)
  • Knowledgeable/expertise in IT application administration, specifically AMOS system.
  • Experience in aviation and/or warehousing systems
  • Knowledgeable in creating documentation of training materials and system specifications.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Maximizing profitability by providing world-class quality assistance, increasing end-user’s proficiency and productivity, exploiting the features of AMOS applications that is vital in the company’s operational requirements, in compliance with the Department Procedures Manual.
  • Ensures effectiveness and proficiency of end-users in the usability of AMOS system through constant guidance, information, and direct involvement in solution-building initiatives.
  • Effectively understanding, identifying and analyzing bottle-necks in an existing process/cycle as opportunities for improving efficiency, increasing the business’ productivity and revenue, minimizing wastes and cost through use of best practices and lean methods and metrics.
  • Ensures continuity of the company’s operations through system performance & reliability, by providing accurate & lean methods to achieve a long-term inventory accuracy and traceability, together ensuring management’s thrust of the high-quality services.
  • Performs systems analysis, design & development (programming) of in-house interface applications such as but not limited to report generator & systems, to minimize cost of AMOS modifications on user-requirements not available in AMOS, increasing operational productivity, using the most viable & available development solutions such as Sybase products, Microsoft, and Oracle solutions
  • Maximizing utilization and exploit of the AMOS system to a variety of newly identified opportunities of the department’s enhancement, increasing efficiency, minimizing expenditures.
  • To ensure that AMOS accesses are controlled and manage, customized to the needs of the department’s requirements, preventing unwanted transactions affecting the inventory that will affect the company’s operations.
  • To conduct tailored-fit AMOS training, for users’ AMOS skills proficiency in their respective unit’s operational requirements.
  • Provides support in day-to-day operations and provide immediate solution by data correction/modification, when necessary.
  • To ensure that AMOS systems function correctly through establishment of data codes and switches, maximizing the utilization of the system.
  • To actively perform quality tests and thorough evaluation of new AMOS versions prior to implementation to prevent work stoppage.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure correctness procedure and quality of data.
  • To formulate supplemental policy and ensure implementation w/ the existing.
  • Performs thorough analysis of user-requirements for improvements of their operations.
  • To directly involved in system analysis, design & development of an in-house report generators or system applications & interfaces, when necessary, using Sybase PowerBuilder, Microsoft & Oracle solutions.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities that may need process improvements, in support of quality objectives of FLYNAS by maximizing the use utilization of AMOS.
  • Provide assistance to departments’ operations by preparing and implementing process improvements to help minimize wastes and increase user’s quality and efficiency of services.
  • Evaluates and analyzes key strategies to help improve processes, quality and efficiency.
  • To develop a tailored-fit transaction guide/manual that may be used by FLYNAS users on different AMOS transactions, necessary for their operations.
  • Provide recommendations on best practices and operational capabilities
  • Provides immediate back-up to support other urgent IT-related issues that can be resolved internally.
