Analyst – Credit Control

What You'll Deliver

• You’ll be responsible to ensure that adequate control mechanisms are in place both in terms of granting credit to Dubai Airports’ customers as well as the periodic monitoring of credit to ensure that the credit risk that Dubai Airports is assuming is adequately protected.
• You’ll review credit application/ customer credit requests ensuring all required supporting documents for the customer credit request are provided and that necessary approvals in accordance with the Delegation of Authorities are present prior to processing.
• You’ll periodically generate Accounts Receivables (AR) ageing reports and perform analysis of the customer accounts.
• You’ll conduct customer follow-up/ reminder on the customers’ account balances and perform necessary actions in accordance with the established policy and will be responsible to coordinate with various units on the appropriate actions to be taken (escalation, encashment of guarantee, etc.).
• You’ll be responsible to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

• You’ll be educated to a Degree level in Commerce or Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and/or Accounting. A recognized professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) is preferrable.
• You’ll have at 3-6 years of relevant experience within the Finance field, with demonstrated experience in Credit Control procedures.
• You’ll have previous knowledge of credit control activities, credit monitoring and follow up.
• You’ll have an understanding of IFRS, business process and control and statutory laws and regulations/implications
• Previous experience with at least Aviation or airports operations industry experience will be preferable.
