Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

Analyst – IFE is responsible for the supervision and coordination of IFE (Inflight Entertainment) system technical support functions ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established Company, regulatory and manufacturers procedures.

  • Works closely with stake holders across all divisions to ensure the onboard product quality and reliability of aircraft IFE systems
  • Works as a key liaison with IFE vendors to identify system & operational problems as well as recommending and evaluating IFE system product improvements
  • Evaluating IFE and WIFI reliability takes a lot of resources to create reports
  • These reports are created by reveiwing sceptre logpages, palantir data, TOCs data, Vendor reports to create an overall picture of the system's performance
  • Reports are usually created before the executive calls everyday starting at 0700 EST
  • Develop and facilitate formal OJT IFE training to Tech Ops personnel, outstation maintenance vendors and In-flight crews
  • Provide direct IFE technical support to all domestic and International stations including the tracking and updating of all chronic IFE deferrals
  • Oversee all IFE equipped aircraft in addition to assisting vendor maintenance while technically supporting our Engineering and Tech Support groups in troubleshooting IFE system Chronic and discrepancies
  • Create and report monthly IFE Reliability
  • Report to measure IFE performance for all IFE systems, this includes any reports created and designed in Palantir
  • Create BIT to proactively minimize IFE malfunctions / impact
  • Support IFE and WIFI vendor Engineering groups in writing IFE documentation, revising or creating AMM procedures, evaluating & testing new IFE software
  • Able to support Retrofit and aircraft in check internationally

Required 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience on multiple IFE systems, operational characteristics, aircraft material & processes, data analysis and front end applications for displaying realtime data analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of IFE systems including aircraft IFE components and systems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • BS Degree or relative Engineering experience in IFE field
  • FAA A&P Certificate
  • Palantir, Excel and Database/web development
  • skills to have realtime data
  • Project management and training development
