Lufthansa Technik is currently seeking highly capable candidates for the position of AOG Desk Officer for its subsidiary in India which has been operating in the country for more than 15 years
Generate aircraft availability according to service level obligation for the assigned accounts utilizing assets & sourcing. Process and co-ordinate material supply for assigned accounts. Provide material services for ad hoc and scheduled customer inquiries. Act as the interface between LHT, Customer and business partners. The related tasks include (without being limited to):
Fully responsible to be the Contact person (central) at AOG-Desk for any queries related to operational customer service at LHT & external companies
Process, coordinate and document all customer requirements right up to availability of materials at the point of need and pass on information to the affected departments
Fully responsible to Carry out and document material procurement measures (demand dissolution, purchase,loan, acceleration, stock transfer)
Support customer service requests and be available to carry out services even during downtimes (internal and external) - fully responsible
Performing and coordinating transport management tasks Will be required to be available for a 24/7 shift pattern. Flexibility is key
Work to Clarify with internal and external customers and suppliers , for any queries
Responsible for sub-areas of material management support as well
Perform Activities in: Sales, Rental, 1:1 Exchange, Dispatching, Data Capture outside of service hours
Perform special tasks, handle projects with full responsibility
Your profile:
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering
Minimum of 3 year job experience
Excellent spoken and written English
Abilities to include but not limited to - Decision Making, problem solving, Working under stress, time management , multi-tasking, customer centric, persuasiveness and assertiveness
Knowledge of SAP, MAX-LRU and C-note is required
Experience in materials management, purchasing, technical customer service, technical documentation or aircraft maintenance is required
Independent and systematic work with changing requirements
Prepared for extensive travelling for training and other purposes
