Ethics and Compliance Team

InterGlobe Aviation Limited (“IndiGo”) is committed to conducting its business with the highest standards of integrity and complying with applicable laws. Housed within the Governance Risk and Compliance (“GRC”) department, the Ethics and Compliance team ensures that IndiGo’s operations are compliant with IndiGo’s Code of Conduct, its internal policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Case Management

  • Ensure effective case management, tracking, and reporting for cases assigned
  • Analyze data related to ethics cases to identify risks, trends, etc.

Internal Investigations

  • Under the direction of the Head Ethics and Compliance or other senior team members, plan, conduct, and oversee internal investigations, often partnering with field investigators and various subject matter experts and in accordance with IndiGo's incident response mechanism and methodologies
  • Gather facts, evidence and other findings in relation to the cases assigned and conduct interviews with witnesses and subject employees (either independently or along with senior team members)
  • Assist in effective engagement of relevant stakeholders for discussing investigation findings and remediation actions
  • Prepare case briefs for presentation to internal stakeholders of IndiGo
  • Write and edit investigation reports, ensuring appropriate documentation
  • Assist in implementation of remediation actions as directed by the Committee

Awareness Campaigns

  • Assist in developing training sessions for IndiGo’s employees on Code of Conduct, ethical best practices, and guidelines for better compliance, etc.
  • Assist in promoting ethical standards, in accordance with the Code of Conduct of IndiGo as well as its core values
  • Coordinate with various internal functions to ensure effective and efficient functioning of various anti-fraud awareness campaigns on social media and company website
  • Assist with rollout of and follow-up to the annual ethics and compliance certification process

Compliance Assessments

  • Under the direction of the Head Ethics and Compliance or other senior team members, plan, conduct, and oversee compliance assessments in identified areas including anti-bribery and corruption, privacy, competition, and international trade.
  • Effectively engage with relevant stakeholders for discussing findings and remediation actions.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management and other internal stakeholders and write reports, ensuring appropriate documentation.
