Job Description

Location:(BANGALORE- GURGAON)

We are scouting for an experienced analytical and detail-oriented drone operation manager who will play a key role in successful of the drone operation executions by planning, managing and monitoring given resources. You will be responsible for overseeing the resource management, data delivery, budgets and timelines and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion of the operation.

You will be responsible of

  • Managing UAV field operations for mapping and surveillance projects.
  • Lead a team of 20+ UAV Pilots across the country over remote to execute the UAV and GIS data collection.
  • Engaging with multiple stakeholders within and outside of organization to understand scope of work in hand, schedule and assign tasks to respective project coordinators and deliver the projects on time.
  • To Ensure all UAV field operations are carried out meeting time lines, cost-effectively, well within the pre-defined budget.
  • Prepare/ manage the project health status and analyze variances
  • Enforcing standard operating procedures complying with asteria drone capabilities and drone industry regulations
  • Track resource requirements, ensuring system readiness and hiring new employees as needed
  • Making continuous efforts to smoothen and improve work output/ delivery by actively engaging with respective teams and necessary departments.
  • Liaising with key account managers to resolve any Ops issues and improvising the work output.
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate progress toward strategic goals

Our expectation would be

  • Should have experience in operations/fleet management of at least 3 years in a similar domain
  • Should have strong people management skills
  • Should be street smart and have good verbal communication skills
  • Should have very flexible in travelling for onsite services /maintenance as the job expects 70% travel throughout the year.
  • The individual must have attention to detail, logical thinking, and ability to execute the activities as per asteria standards.
  • Familiarity with GIS softwares and DGPS Survey is an added advantage
  • Should be aware Indian drone regulations
  • The individual should be good at following instructions and work collaboratively with diverse team.
  • The individual must have problem solving, reliability, good decision-making skill.
  • The individual must stay abreast with technology changes and. Have a high learning ability to adapt to changing dynamics of the technology and demonstrate string technical expertise
  • The individual shall flexible during working hours based on the work assignments.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
