Job Description


  1. Assist in conducting periodic internal investigation meetings.
  • Ensure proper co-ordination with stake holders like ENGG/ OPS & AOCS etc to gather relevant data for internal investigation of any incident..
  • Assist in conducting the internal investigation
  • Prepare the MOM of Int. investigation meetings.
  • Follow up on recommended action items post investigation.
  1. Preparation for PIB investigation meetings (collection of documents, Engg. aspects, flight data analysis, weather, manufacturer feedback.)
  • Ensure proper co-ordination with stake holders like ENGG/ OPS & AOCS etc to gather relevant data for PIB investigation of important incidents with DGCA..
  • Conduct proper follow up of incidents like Shop reports/ Reliability / Mod aspects.
  • Prepare MOM of PIB.
  • Help in Preparing PIB incident investigation reports. 
  • Ensure notification of reportable Occurrences to Regulatory Authorities as per CAR.
  • Timely submission of PIB reports to DGCA & Follow-up for timely compliance by all departments on the findings / recommendations by PIB.
  • Function as a member of the safety audit team whenever detailed.
  • Preparations of slides for SAG Meeting.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Chief / Dy Chiefs of Flight Safety.
