Job Description

Changi Airport is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Promotions Assistant Manager to drive growth for our Commercial business. As part of the Advertising, Marketing and Promotions team within the Airside Concessions Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving retail sales through omnichannel marketing and promotion initiatives.  As an Assistant Manager, Marketing & Promotions, you will be responsible for: 

 

  • Plan and execute airport-wide omni-channel marketing initiatives to promote commercial offerings, drive footfall and increase sales at Changi Airport. 
  • Conceptualize, plan and implement exciting airport-wide shopping promotions to drive sales and footfall (eg. Win with Changi, Year-end Festive Shopping Promotion). 
  • Drive collaborations with external partners and airport tenants to garner their support and participation in the marketing initiatives and promotions, as well as secure sponsorships for these promotions. 
  • Manage appointed external agencies such as advertising and creative agencies, and production companies to develop and work on integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of the marketing initiatives and promotions.  
  • Oversee and track the projects’ budget and P&L to meet the programme objectives.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Business / Marketing / Mass Communications
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing in a retail background and/or event management.  
  • Digital and social media marketing experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Good communications and relationship building skills 
  • Good analytical skills to perform sales analysis and relating to the performance of the promotions/projects
  • Innovative, independent, meticulous and self-driven individual who is a team player and agile to changes
  • High energy, hands-on, able to multi-task and work effectively given tight timelines, and able to work occasional irregular hours during promotional periods. 
  • Strong in Microsoft Office suite of tools. Familiarity with Digital marketing tools and Photoshop a bonus.

 

Applicants who are medically eligible for vaccination has to be fully vaccinated or have made plans to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1 January 2022 as this position requires the employee to return to the workplace.
