Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide Technical advice and assistance on all aspects of Aircraft Performance Engineering.
• Contribute to Performance documentation technical content, customization, revision and production in relevant published manuals and support material.
• Ensure that regulated performance for Take-off, En-route and Landing are monitored and revised on a regular basis:
• Constant monitoring of NOTAMs & implementation
• Design, validation and implementation of Engine Out procedures
• Inflight Performance evaluation
• Validation as appropriate of escape procedures for Drift down and Depressurization
• Ensure that non-normal procedures, or dispatch under MEL items that affect aircraft performance are analyzed and proper guidance produced for Crew and Dispatch.
• Support Electronic Flight Bag System, troubleshoot any issues and update performance database as and when required.
• Review Airfield Type A and B Obstacle Charts for analysis and conduct airport feasibility study.
• Act as Aircraft Performance Monitoring focal, to ensure that back office and aircraft systems accurately reflect aircraft performance degradation.
• Provide continuous support to Flight Dispatch.
• Conduct Technical studies on a set of ATA systems (with regular system turnover).

Job Specifications

• Education: B. Tech/ B. Sc. with specialization in Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering from a recognized University/ Board.
• Experience: 5-8 Years' post qualification experience in Flight Operations/ Flight Dispatch with knowledge of FCOM and SOP.
• Certified Flight Dispatcher or Qualified Aircraft Performance Engineer (Airbus/ Boeing/ ATR) is a mandatory requirement.
• Detailed knowledge of PBN and Special operations and applicability will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with OEM Flight Ops engineering programs.
• Working knowledge of MS-Office and MS-Excel. Knowledge of C++/ Java/ R/ Python/ MATLAB is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player and result oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
