Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre is currently looking for Associate Liaison Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering team in Bangalore, India. As a Liaison Engineer, you will be a part of a global team working on providing ME solutions to a wide range of Boeing products and services across the world.

A successful candidate will be part of Manufacturing Engineering team responsible for providing timely resolutions for the non-conformances and shop requests reported from the global sites. The role would primarily focus on working with onsite production teams to dispose the technical queries, NC disposiunderstand their problem statements, coordinating with stakeholders for dispositions and converting these dispositions into installation plan and work instructions. The position is based in Bangalore and the candidate may need to work in shifts and take part in virtual reviews and coordination meetings with various ME groups based onsite.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with onsite Project ME, Design and quality teams for timely NC resolutions.
  • Support creation and modifications of installation plans and work instructions as per production plan and customer requirements
  • Support ordering of parts to achieve production plan
  • Assist in creation of repair schemes and associated work instructions as per NCR dispositions.
  • Assist in burn down of production issue log and action tracker.
  • Support implementation of lean principles to minimize turnaround times for NCR Management
  • Assist in technical Liaison and problem solving across teams to improve quality and drive process improvements.
  • Participate and manage relationships with all stakeholders and onsite team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years of work experience in production of automotive or aerospace parts/assemblies
  • 2+ years of experience related to NCR management or technical liaison engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with ME tools & PLM software 
  • Good oral and written communication

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Boeing products/Commercial aircraft platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), CATIA , Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), and Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES).
  • Ability to work in shifts and be flexible in work timings.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically, 5 to 8 years' related work experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred.
