Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • The jobholder as Materials and Logistics Manager is responsible and accountable for the management of MTTA C-295 FISS operations focusing mainly on repairable equipment, spares, logistics and warehouse management: 
  • To manage the end to end process (Spares, LRU, GSE and consumable) 
  • To manage operations related to the Spares Availability Services provided by Military Air Systems within their In MTTA C-295 program. 
  • To support the TASM departments in all activities of forecasting demand to allow taking decisions to meet individual customer service expectations. 
  • To provide data for the focal point of the entire inventory management organization, for all requests & exchange of global information. 
  • To assist at monthly FISS meeting 
  • To manage local inventory according to targeted objectives. 
  • To prepare internal Inventory report and launch actions for inventory effectiveness improvements. 
  • To ensure compliance with the target level of KPIs and performance/financial metrics set for FISS contract in place Materials and Logistics responsibility area.

-           Main activities

  • Assist in defining Processes, Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) & Business Requirements for IT development and/or modification to allow the set-up of the organization of Material Services in line with the Concept of Operations for the In Service Support of M&L. 
  • Conduct activities for In Service Support of M&L through the pool management and spares availability services. 
  • Perform management of local inventories management from centrally located and local organizations per In Service Support contract & customer. 
  • Analyze strategic and tactical situation of inventories for performance based contract and ISS models to act upon optimization & fulfilment of customers expectation and contractual obligations, with the right level of inventory stock. 
  • Propose for decision on provisioning or repair of rotable items and prioritize accordingly to maintain the agreed stock level.
  • Propose recommended stock quantities to maintain the required inventory. 
  • Lead the logistic local team as well as the Stock Management Personnel. 
  • Produce inventory status reports and lead improvement actions to deliver inventory
  • Coordinate with the Repair Services organization for the vendor monitoring project and the repair center network set up and performance improvement to ensure reduction in TAT & costs for repairs of local inventory.
