Job Description

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defense forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review the component level and Assembly level drawings and CAD before release to production.
• Participate in PDR’s and CDR’s and interact with cross functional teams to ensure all stakeholders sign off before release of drawings or CAD.
• Ensure cross functional training is carried out to ensure an overlap exists between DE, ME and Avionics domains to understand requirements and delegate work packages to team members.
• Resource allocation and scheduling of day-day tasks for CAD team.
• Should independently handle CAD design team activities.
• Should be able to communicate with sub-systems’ stakeholders on the technical requirements, be able to discuss, participate and negotiate in finalizing technical requirements and acceptance methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Catia/ V5/V6/3D EXP/Solid Works
• Work Benches: Part Design, Assembly Design, CPD, Sheetmetal, Drafting.
• Design and detailing in CATIA for part, assembly & installation drawings with sound knowledge on DFM, DFA, Tolerance Stack Up, GD&T and ASME standards.

Good to have:

• Hands-on experience with ENOVIA VPM/ Team Center or similar PDM/ PLM
• Knowledge of Design and Assembly of Unmanned Aerial Systems.
• Should have an ability to articulate thought process well in individual meetings as well as larger team meetings.

Basic Requirement:

• E /M.E in Mechanical / Aerospace /Automobile/Production
• 5-8 Years in Engineering design / product development / CAD Design
