Understanding requirements

• Accountable to understand the technical requirements and carryout the project related activities as per project specification and checklists

Tool/Engineering design - awareness and knowledge

• Ensures to have awareness of standards, both international/local as well as those required by the customer

Technical solution generation

• Accountable for timely reporting and submission of error free deliverables within assigned time and effort estimated/planned
• Responsible to proactively pre-empt what is required and ask for help/information from supervisor to ensure delivery of solution as expected

Skill development and contribution

• Responsible to provide inputs for improvement in productivity, upgrade team technical skills and by imparting training/sharing knowledge with the team.  Assess alternative solutions/equipment selection with in the budget
• Responsible to proactively upgrade domain knowledge, technical skills as needed by the project

Project Management

Project execution

• Ensures to understand the requirements, scope, purpose, risks and objectives of the project. Understands that the decision taken by this role holder has an impact on the other stake holders
• Responsible for planning, organizing and prioritising work assigned, multi-disciplinary team coordination, efficiently handling those activities as advised by project lead/tech lead by eliminating unnecessary activities

Project review and reporting

• Responsible to understand the estimated efforts as per the project requirements and meeting the project milestones
• Accountable to efficiently handle assigned activities with minimum supervision as per the given schedule. Responsible to report the progress of the project to the Line Manager as per the plan

• Ensures familiarization and compliances to the tools and processes

• Ensures to be a good team player and is able to work well in coordination within the team, other discipline team members, client, and vendors where applicable
• Understands and adheres to appropriate work habits maintaining neatness, personal hygiene as appropriate to the role

Quality awareness and compliance

• Ensures to adhere to company and customer policies, rules and procedures
• Responsible to understand and meet the quality standards and maintain records as required by the QM

Process/Productivity improvement

•  Contributes to best practices, lessons learnt and knowledge management. Shares knowledge with the team and assist implementing in current project(s) for productivity improvement

• 'BS Degree in ME/AERO. Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience as CAE Engineer. Minimum of 1 year of experience using pre-prcessor / post-processor tools (Hyperworks) and ANSA for complex system level CAE model construction

Responsibilities will include:
• Construction of high quality FE model using Hypermesh/Simlab/Ansa
• Conduct linear and nonlinear FE solutions of structures for fatigue and strength evaluation using tools Nastran and Abaqus
• Technical Report Preparation for the above activities
• Knowhow in Fatigue codes will be added advantage
