Job Description

We are looking for a Cargo Agent to ensure that cargo operations adhere to the company policies and procedures and to coordinate with service providers/ (Ground Handler, Cargo Management Company) ensuring service level are met at all times. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure high utilization of cargo loading on all flights of Jazeera.
• Assist to implement a review and risk assessment process on all SOPs, Manuals and working practices to identify any unsafe practice areas for quality improvement.
• Conduct a periodic evaluation to service providers against a measurable target/ SLA, results to be shared with department’s management.
• Ensure reliable customer service delivery and on time performance at all times.
• Manage the qualitative aspects of Cargo Operations.
• Ensure the appropriate standards of safety and security are achieved with corporate requirements, government legislation and international best practice. 
• Handle critical issues through liaison with station managers, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with situations. 
• Assist the Cargo Manager for accident investigation, reporting and statistical analysis related to Cargo Operation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or Graduate.
• At least 2 year's previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Excellent knowledge of the Airside and Cargo Operation.
• Candidates with knowledge in DGR, Ramp handling, Safety, AVSEC etc will be preferred.
