About the role:
Support the Cargo Training Manager to deliver training programs across the Cargo Campus in line with the established Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with the ability to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of all learnings transferred into the workplace, implementing necessary changes for continuous improvements. Responsible for developing, delivering and maintaining QAS Cargo training materials and report training efficiencies to meet business objectives and KPIs to drive continuous business excellence to achieve world leading, best in class training standards.
This role is under the Cargo division of Qatar Aviation Services (QAS). It is an award-winning, premier ground-handling organization whose global headquarter is at Hamad International Airport (HIA), the hub airport of Qatar Airways. QAS is certified in ISAGO, ISO 9001, RA3 (Regulated Agent) and is a member of the IATA Ground Handling Partnership, proactively participating in various IATA technical groups such as IATA Ground Operations Manual, Load Control & Messaging, Ground Service Equipment & Environment, and Airside Safety Group.
QAS Cargo provides services like Import & Expert Handling, Special Cargo Handling, and Cool Chain, for 34 Passenger and Cargo Airlines including Qatar Airways, handling more than 1.8 million tons annually at Hamad International Airport.

About you:
An ideal candidate will have:
• 5 years of experience in developing and delivering training programs within the Airline and/or ground handling industry.
• Experience training in a multicultural environment.
• Train the Trainer certificate, preferably from a reputed institute.
• Valid IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Category 6 Certificate for Operational Trainers.
• IATA Professional Skills for Dangerous Goods Instructors Certificate for Operational Trainers.
• Preferable QCAA certified to conduct DG in Qatar (applicable for candidates based in Qatar).
• IATA Live Animal Regulations.
• IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations.
• Imparting cargo/warehouse operational systems training.
• Any Civil Aviation Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in ULD Build Up, Principles of Load Control, Mass and Balance, Cargo Warehouse.
• Operations, Ramp Handling training delivery.
• Experience in 70:20:10 Learning model.
• Experience in project management.
• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma in job-relevant domain.
• Sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure to define tight timescales and budgets.
• Ability to use initiative in order to improve the department and the processes.
• Proven to demonstrate flexibility in meeting the demands of the business unit to which he/she is assigned.
• Proven ability for solution-oriented, effective communication with internal departments.
