Job Description

 

Main Objectives

To Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Central Support Division inclusive of the Projects, Facility Management, Information & Communication Technology, Information Security, and Procurements & Logistics Departments through the delivery of quality, efficient, cost-effective and timely professional services to support the company’s main business units.

Main Duties

  • Develop and establish sound governing and operating policies for all departments within the Central Support Division and monitor their implementation.
  • Ensure interests of the Company, shareholders, and employees are preserved and protected through constantly reviewing and amending policies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all business aspects in the Central Support Division to ensure that quality of decisions and actions are significantly improved.
  • Develop, implement and manage the budget of the Central Support Division.
  • Direct internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial targets, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the Company.
  • Report regularly, to the CEO with appropriate, timely and quality information so the CEO can carry out his/her responsibilities effectively.
  • Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations of the Central Support Division regularly and systematically, and report these results to the CEO.
  • Exercise with great attention the authorities stipulated in the Schedule of Authorities approved by the Board of Directors of the Company.
  • Ensure that the operations have the necessary and optimized resources to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor division KPIs to optimize operations and drive efficiencies.
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are regularly reviewed, and whenever possible reengineered and improved to achieve effective, efficient operations.
  • Monitor service level in the whole Central Support Division and ensure that customers’ requirements and satisfactions targets are met.
  • Ensure that all operations and activities are performed in compliance with local regulations and laws.
  • Represent the Company in executive forums locally and abroad and ensure the best possible professional image is reflected and the right message is conveyed at all times.
  • Develop sound business relationship with the Company’s key stakeholders and ensure that the relationship is maintained professionally for the best interest of the Company.
  • Oversee the establishment of effective risk management and control systems across departments within the Central Support Division.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company and airport authorities’ occupational health, safety, security and quality requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in business administration or a relevant field as a minimum requirement.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in progressive strategic, operational and leadership roles.
  • Aviation industry experience is preferable.

Other Essential Requirements:
