Job Description

Main Objectives

Responsible for the commercial performance for a number of origin & destination pairs; managing demand forecasts for all assigned origin & destinations; analysing the impact on demand from changes in the competitive environment; working closely with Revenue Management colleagues to develop coordinated revenue management strategies and tactics

Main Duties

• Manage demand for short term and long term forecasts to optimize network revenue
• Monitor special events and provide accurate proactive planning for special events and holidays in forecasting and demand adjustments
• Maintain system overrides and adjustments
• Analyse the impact of demand from changes in competition, schedules and fares
• Measure and maintain forecast accuracy
• Develop coordinated revenue management strategies and tactics
• Consistently review reports to spot shifts in demand and communicate across the Revenue Management team
• Use the Revenue Optimizer system to identify issues, drill down and maximise network revenue

Education & Training

• Bachelor degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer science, Statistics or equivalent certification.

Experience

No prior Revenue Management experience is required
