Job Description

Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Programs, Projects and Corporate General & Administrative departments and provides support to programs in budgeting, forecasting and operational performance analysis. The position is also responsible for developing commercial proposals for renewal of customer contracts and new business opportunities.
Will also be responsible for

• Direct and supervise the team to deliver high quality financial analysis and projections.
• Finalize monthly revenue recognition analysis for customer contracts in accordance with company policy, international financial reporting standards and contractual terms and conditions.
• Prepare and review management reports for programs/projects profitability and corporate departments performance against approved budgets and forecasts to ensure the effective monitoring and management of Company financial performance against approved forecast, budgets, contracts, business plans and other appropriate benchmarks, as applicable.
• Manage preparation of detailed analysis of accounts receivables (billed and unbilled) on a monthly basis along with appropriate commentary for delays in invoicing and/or collections.
• Develop financial models to support pricing, budgeting, benchmarking and financial reporting.
• Manage preparation and review of monthly management reports working closely with Project teams and Project Managers to identify reasons for variances, opportunities for improvement in financial performance or efficiencies in customer service delivery.
• Develop five-year strategic business plans and annual budget in coordination with Programs, Projects and support functions such as Human Resources, Supply Chain, Commercial etc.
• Develop and review financial reports for monitoring performance against budgets reporting variance analysis.
• Develop commercial proposals for renewal of existing customer contracts and new business opportunities working closely with technical and operational teams to identify and capture all relevant and applicable costs, identify risks and contingencies in completing deliverables.
• Developing compliance matrix to ensure all obligations under proposed general statement of work are captured ad addressed in commercial proposals.
• Review cash flow projections to ensure adequate funding is available to support business operations and temporary surplus is placed under deposits efficiently.
• Review periodic VAT reporting requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy of company VAT returns.
• Manage financial systems enhancements to improve efficiency of department operations while ensuring timely production of deliverables (financial statements, management reports, invoices etc.)
• Develop, update and maintain the financial planning and budgeting policies and procedures.
• Undertake all other tasks and duties as assigned by the VP Finance.

QUALIFICATION

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  -Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or (CFA) preferred.
  -Membership from a professional financial institution, professional financial qualification.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting field, in the similar position.
