Monitor completion of Station Emergency Reponse Manuals and enure that the manuals are regularly updated by the respective GF Airport Managers for each outstation on the GF network.
Ensure that the GF Crisis Management Centre is equppied, prepared and maintained in a high state of readiness
Coordinate and update contact details for listed agencies likely to be involved with the response to an accident or incident involving the airline
Ensure that the Gulf Air Family Assistance Team database and equipment is maintained and updated
Deliver Emergency Response Induction Briefings on an as required basis
Main Duties
Monitor completion of Station Emergency Response Manuals including follow up with individual GF airport managers to ensure that the SERMs are updated and accurate for each station on the GF network.
Ensure that the GF Crisis Management Centre, is prepared, tested on a weekly basis and maintained in a high state of readiness (to include all IT and communications systems, documentation and supporting stationary).
Coordinate and update contact details for listed agencies to include, Emergency Response Team members for Home and Field teams, codeshare partners, outside agencies and Family Assistance Teams
Ensure that the Family Assistance Team equipment are prepared, updated and maintained in a high state of readiness at both the GF HDQs building and outstation, through coordination with outstation staff, as appropriate
Deliver the Emergency Response Induction Briefing to flight deck and cabin crew on an ‘as required’ basis to facilitate staff volunteering to be part of the GF Family Assistance Team
Deliver the Emergency Response Management, and Family Assistance Training to airports staff and Family Assistance Team on an ‘as required’ basis
Provide administrative support for all internal GF Emergency Response training including arranging attendance records, booking training facilities and issuing of training certificates
Undertake coordinating actions and provide administrative support to the CMC, Emergency Response Team and Family Assistance Teams during an aircraft accident, incident or exercise
Undertake other tasks as determined by the Manager Emergency Response Planning
Education & Training
University degree level is essential
Required to successfully complete an industry recognized Emergency Response course within 12 months of being appointed
Experience
Essential:
Between 5 to 10 years’ experience with a civil airline in a customer facing role
Desirable:
Fluency in Arabic language
Previous Emergency Response Management or Family Assistance role
A minimum of two years’ experience within the operations division of an airline at specialist level or higher
