Design, analyze and simulate,advanced power conversion systems for helicopters consisting of electromechanical systems, power electronics and controls.
Mechanical and electrical integration of hardware components of power systems.
Design, develop hardware and implement advanced controls for electrical systems.
Research power electronics components and electrical circuits for hybrid power systems.
Development of test setups and lab prototypes.
Scaling of lab prototype to deployable system.
Develop system test procedures.
Prepare and participate in project and technical reviews.
Collaborate in the development of internal and external project proposals and initiatives.
Bachelors / Masters / Phd in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / or in relevant fields.
Hands-on PCB design, hardware design and build experience in power circuits and systems.
Experience with power devices, their gate drives and electrical machines.
Firm grasp of power electronics components.
Experience in simulation and analysis of power systems circuits.
Understanding of thermal management of electrical circuits.
Understanding of certifications and standards for electrical components.
Experience in electrical simulation packages MATLAB/SIMULINK/CST STUDIO SUITE
