Job Description

Responsible for the quality, performance and enforcement of contracts in the Division in alignment with the commercial strategy, sales objectives and business rationales of the Company

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Activities

Formulate contract management strategies including various factors like bulking buying, market trend analysis, currency fluctuations, product improvement initiatives, renewals and update etc.

Overlook the finalization, deliveries, invoice certification and vendor performance evaluation and ensuring timely and efficient implementation of contracts in compliance with standard procedures

Contract Management

Responsible for a transparent contract management process comprising on activities like vendor registration, evaluation of proposals, techno-commercial comparisons, order finalization, deliveries, invoice certification and vendor performance evaluation

Ensure timely and efficient implementation of contracts as the standard procedures

Accountable for driving implementation and strict adherence to contract management SOPs

Identify, create, and manage new vendors and contracts to meet the in-house demand & supply requirements

Lead the team and guiding them to coordinate with various departments and endusers to validate requirements and ensure adherence to governance and control mechanism for timely procurement of materials and renewals of the contracts

Identifies new initiatives and areas for cost reduction opportunities as per the approved authority matrix

Ensure documentation and database management for all contracts

Develops and maintain a comprehensive vendor and contractor rating mechanism to regulate and control vendor and contractor productivity

  • Lead the team and provide direction on execution / implementation of tasks by prioritizing functional and organization goals
  • Support team members in collaborating across multiple internal/external stakeholders

Educational Requirements

  • Masters/PGP/PGDM in Operations/Finance

Experience Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant work experience in an aviation industry of which minimum five years must be in executive level
  • Practical experience in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practice

Desired Requirements

  • 12+ years relevant work experience in contract management
  • Practical experience in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practice
