Job Description


We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Engineering Finance Manager that will lead the Engineering and Maintenance activities in terms of contract agreement administrations, negotiations invoice control, and warranty claims to ensure business transactions to join our Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform contract preparations and negotiation to third parties and other related contracts for Engineering Business processes.
  • Lead and work departmental projects based with a concentration on creative tools to increase process efficiencies.
  • Processing of warranty claims and coordination with OEM and related companies.
  • Handle warranties for all financial recovery with a focus on denied claims, dispute recovery to be challenged.
  • Update and manage supplier’s contracts and warranty with OASES
  • Review over-and-above during checks against contracts and task cards.
  • Liaise closely with Engineering and Maintenance department for various technical needs that may have arisen from the contracted providers.
  • Prepare the evaluation report and recommendations for preferred suppliers/providers.
  • Liaison with other JZR division or departments for various non-technical inquiries.
  • Monitoring the existing contracts for its validity and meeting various regulatory requirements.
  • Managing follow up action for any amendment to agreements.
  • Liaison with Finance, Tender Teams, Legal affairs for any new contract, contract or renewals.
  • Ensure all invoices relating to Engineering and Maintenance contracts are correct in terms of billing agreements.
  • Ensure Engineering and Maintenance team are aware of Service-Level Agreements (SLA)s affecting financial claims.
  • Support for ongoing fleet programs including aircraft modifications, entry in to service and redelivery.
  • Assist with assessment of aircraft leases, aircrafts and engine orders and build business cases accordingly.
  • Assist with administration of fleet contracts and tenders for various fleet related requirements.
  • Aircraft Lease maintenance reserve management, including maintenance event claims and maintenance reserve reconciliation.
  • Review of technical contracts with major suppliers and service providers, MROs, manufacturers, airlines, lessors, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English. 
  • Minimum 5 years experience relating to contracts, invoices, warranty handling.
  • Experience or exposure in accounting or banking, preferred to have knowledge in business aspects of airline operations and aircraft maintenance organizations.
  • Ability to work and interact with departments throughout internal and external organizations.
  • Negotiation skills, SGHA Concept Knowledge, Intermediate Financial Skills.
  • Strong Financial and Strategical understanding.
