Job Description

Seeking an enthusiastic candidate with 1-2 years of experience related to unmanned aerial vehicle technologies to join Engineering support team in Customer Support department. Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, documenting, testing of Asteria aftersales producs in-house & on-site.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Participate in documenting non-conformity cases for the reported issues of delivered products.
  • Participate in investigation of reported incident and documentation of incident/accident summary.
  • Perform testing & debugging for UAV system/sub system failure analysis using various root cause analysis methods.
  • Ensuring smooth progression of non-conformity case with respect to defined SLAs for the function.
  • Implementation & Verification of suggested Corrective & preventive actions for all the subjected products in non-conformance.
  • Technical support for the service & repair of UAV system or sub system considering the defined SLAs.
  • On-field / remote support as required in static/dynamic flight operations.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams as a feedback loop to help with product improvements.

Reporting Tasks

  • Daily summary reports for the updates of logged non-conformity cases.
  • Documenting troubleshooting, debugging – repair steps taken to resolve the issues.• Consolidated reports for non-conformity cases.
  • Coordinate with the team to collect the required data for non-conformance reports.
  • Updates on the progression status of system repair or under accident investigation.
  • Implementing & Documenting testing procedures for sub-systems & other components.
  • Coordinating with the team for keeping track of status of active systems & reporting dependency 
  • on engineering support team.

Qualifications

  • B.E / B Tech Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or Equivalent

Relevant Experience

  • 1-2.5 years in UAV Technical support 

Desired Skills & Characteristics

  • Knowledge of multirotor/RC aircraft, flight operations
  • Critical thinking & strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with UAV flight controller software.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical task timelines.
  • Ability to work hands-on with hardware-electronics assembly/disassembly, testing & debugging.
  • Good communication & listening skills.
  • Strong verbal & contextual writing skills in English.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently and multitask.
  • Willing to travel on-site whenever required.
