Job Description

Your primary responsibility includes operation of all airfield maintenance equipment including mechanical sweeper, pavement marking and maintenance equipment, FOD collection equipment etc. related to Airfield pavement maintenance. 

• Reporting and maintaining of all Airfield equipment’s which includes operational status, necessary maintenance and repairs for all equipment’s for day to day airfield maintenance activities as per company policies.
• Responsible for day to day operation of various types of heavy equipment including mechanical sweeper/ water tanker / lorry crane to ensure smooth operation as per company policies.
• To maintain cleanliness of Taxiway, Runway and apron as per the standards without effecting the day to day operations as per standard operating procedures.
• To monitor and coordinate with HIA safety for all the runway closure markers and safety barriers during the closure activities with minimum disruption to operations as per standard operating procedures.
• To perform periodic and ad-hoc sweeping operations of airfield facilities to ensure safety standards are met as per company policies.

Qualifications

Essential

• High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Secondary Education, Year/Grade 10, min compulsory education) 
• Valid Qatar Heavy Driving License is a must (Trailer category)
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience required
• Ability to prepare reports of all nature.
• Excellent spoken/written communication skills in English language andl at all levels
• Observant nature during routine inspections. 
• Responsible attitude towards work.
