Job Description

Minimum requirements

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience preferable;
  • Passion for all things aviation and a flair for marketing as well as social media
  • Should be able to tell an Embraer ERJ 145 from an Airbus A320 or a Boeing 777;
  • Exceptional English language skills - spoken and written;
  • Creative demeanour;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure; and An extrovert and a peoples person.
  • Qualification: Graduation/MBA

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing Star Air social media presence; media and public relations; branding and industry / media interactions;
  • Ideation of creative and engaging content for social media pertaining to but not limited to new route promotions; radio advertisements; hoardings; promotional campaigns and emailers; expos; events; and brochures and flyers;
  • Developing immersive content; curating content placement across the inflight magazine; and pitching the magazine to source advertisements;
  • Planning and managing company events; Liaising with multiple internal stakeholders to inter alia, investigate and resolve customer grievances;
  • Farming social media for customer feedback and passenger generated content; and amplifying positive customer experience; and
  • Liaising with creative agencies for planning social media strategy, creation, and curation of content for inter alia, city launches; topical days; festivals etc.
