Position Overview:

Boeing India Supply Chain is currently looking for an Experienced Sustainability & EHS Analyst to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. The candidate also will have strong communications skills. He or she must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Shape Boeing’s enterprise supply chain sustainability strategy and drive a portfolio of implementation projects that account for digitally enabled business processes, metrics, compliance obligations, governance documentation and stakeholder communication. Apply project management principles to effectively socialize, prioritize, resource, plan and execute efforts.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement internal and external communication strategies and content to publicize the company’s supply chain sustainability efforts to a diverse target audience.
  • Serve as an internal leader and subject matter expert on supply chain sustainability, monitoring emerging trends and compliance obligations. Represent Boeing in industry associations and cross-industry forums addressing supply chain sustainability.
  • Engage with diverse external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, investors, sustainability rating agencies/standards bodies, non-profit organizations, and industry and academic groups) to create an aerospace and defense supply chain materiality assessment and inform the enterprise supply chain sustainability strategy.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across functions, business units and subsidiaries to address supply chain aspects in corporate value chain sustainability focus areas (e.g. human rights, GHG management, codes of conduct, etc.) and scale/govern standard supply chain sustainability processes and metrics throughout the enterprise.
  • Identify and capture opportunities with suppliers, non-profit organizations and industry groups to demonstrate supply chain sustainability stewardship
  • Govern an integrated supply chain sustainability architecture showing linkage of metrics/KPIs to business processes, IT systems, and sustainability reporting/disclosure elements. Engage in IT system development to digitally enable business processes and associated metric/KPI suite.
  • Responsible for supply chain input to Boeing’s annual Sustainability and Non-financial Report, various ESG reports and disclosures, questionnaires, industry surveys, and engaging with key ESG ratings and rankings organizations.
  • Participate as an active member of the EHS&S Team to execute and optimize overall EHS&S strategy and operations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Candidate with 8-12 years of total work experience and should have least 4 years working within a corporate sustainability group for a large company, or have related experience in consulting (sustainability and/or management), compliance, corporate strategy, business unit strategy, and/or business unit sustainability

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master degree with 8-12 years of experience in managing sustainability and field certifications strongly preferred

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically, 8-12 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. bachelor, master, etc.) preferred but not required.
